HBSA Internal

The Haas Business School Association (HBSA) is the official undergraduate student government of the Haas School of Business. Under the support and guidance of the faculty and Undergraduate Program Office, HBSA is a team of diverse students that collaboratively work together to create opportunities and events for the undergraduate community at Haas. HBSA’s goal is to promote activities that benefit the Haas community, students, faculty, and staff.

Executive Leadership

President: Grace Lee

The President provides a vision, direction, and instruction in fulfilling the mission of HBSA and Haas, providing mentorship and assistance to all executive officers and empowering the undergraduate program to reach its goals.

 

 

Executive Vice President: Mitchell Quon  

The Executive Vice President assists the President in creating and executing the mission of HBSA and working with all executive officers to ensure the goals of the organization are met and the HBSA community develops.

Technology & Communications 

Vice President: Soo Song

Tech & Communications spearheads online communications efforts for HBSA and Haas undergraduate community by strengthening online outreach, updating the HBSA website, and compiling the UG weekly.

MBA & Alumni Relations

Vice President: Sanjana Sathya

Professional Development

Vice President: Hank Sze

Professional Development serves as the professional representative of the undergraduate community, coordinating with the career center, companies, and campus organizations to ensure the abundance and the diversity of professional resources.

Marketing

Vice President: Angie Nguyen 

Associates: Spencer Wu (2018) and Cristal Banh (2019)

 

 

 

Marketing ensures and promotes community engagement by raising awareness of HBSA activities and affairs.

Finance

Vice President: Kyeihong Kim

Associates: Kayla Lee (2018), Nicole Tsai (2018), Adam Liu (2019), Amy Zhu (2019), Catherine Tang (2019), and Julia Lee (2019)

 

 

Finance coordinates with the officers of the Executive Board and the Haas Undergraduate Office in establishing, maintaining and maximizing the fiscal capabilities of HBSA to better serve the Haas community.

Student Affairs

Vice President: Dara Dan

Student Affairs serves by assessing and addressing the concerns of Haas Students and Faculty, enriching the Haas experience through various events and programs, as well as managing outreach to Pre-Haas students interested in applying to Haas.

DAC Chair (Directors’ Advisory Council):

The DAC Chair oversees all of the 20+ Haas-Sponsored undergraduate clubs to encourage collaboration and unity between the organizations.

Philanthropy:

Philanthropy serves as a liaison representing the Haas community by planning donor events, developing crowdsourcing ideas, and fostering a culture of philanthropy to support the sustainability of the Haas Undergraduate Program.

Corporate Relations establishes and maintains relationships with HBSA’s corporate sponsors, providing networking and professional development opportunities to the business community.
